Stormwater | Level 1 & 2 ERAs
As part of the State of California 2015 Industrial General Permit, EEC Environmental (EEC) is assisting industrial facilities with compliance-related issues pertaining to this permit. In 2016, EEC supported over ten industrial facilities in Southern California with their Elevated Response Actions (ERA) Level 1 site evaluations and reports as required by the state’s Industrial General Permit.
These projects consisted of reviewing the Numeric Action Limit (NAL) exceedances for each facility, identifying potential sources of the exceedances, recommending corrective actions including best management practice (BMP) enhancements, and completing the ERA Level 1 Reports. EEC currently has three Qualified Industrial Stormwater Practitioners (QISPs) on staff and has one Qualified SWPPP Practitioner (QSP) / Quality Spread Differential (QSD) on staff as well. With the completion of the 2016/2017 monitoring period, EEC is now assisting multiple industrial facilities with completing Level 1 and 2 ERAs by completing ERA Level 1 evaluations and reports, or Level 2 Action Plans, depending on their compliance status.
